FO MCDU display position not saved

Hi all,

my FO MCDU is not saving the position anymore after moving it to the right place.

This is really strange, as it was running before. So what has changed:
I have replaced my CPT MCDU (the new one has HDMI instead of VGA). All monitors are recogniced by Windows (2 PFD/ND and the 2 MCDU).
I can move and save every display to any screen and save it. Only the FO MCDU is always loaded in the default state, no matter, where I move it to.

I have even restored the complete FMGS folder from my backup. And I have deleted the MCDU.ini, but no change.

It's driving me crazy...any help is greatly appreciated!

Check the folder is not write protected?

which folder exactly? Softpanels?
Anyhow, I haven't changed any folder settings... and the CPT MCDU is working fine.

I also tried changing the parameters for left and top position directly in the MCDUS.cfg. But also no effect.

Which version do you use?

Currently using B 61.10.1
Also tried with the latest version B.61.13.

As this was working before and just started with reconnecting some of the displays it might be a conflict with Windows? It's just strange, that it only affects the FO MCDU, while the CPT MCDU is working fine.

Michael, sometimes it´s helps to delete the MCDU.ini and let rebuild a new one at start of MCDU with setup from scratch.

Hi Bernd, I also tried deleting the mcdu.ini
And I tried to restore all files from Backup.
Nothing helped so far.
