Hi all,

Anyone got any advice on what caused this?

Recently updated and turned the sim on engines running.

See attached photo.

hello Jean Luc
I have the same problem as Saustin 89
Messages are displayed just after the second engine is turned on
After takeoff the plane becomes uncontrollable The trottle panics continuously despite the PA activated Impossible to control in select either This gives the impression that the hardware no longer communicates with the software
So for my part I can no longer use the simulator
I have hardware Cockpit sonic The latest version JL 61.9 and an update to P3D 6.1
I don't know how to do it anymore
Thank you for your help
best regard
Patrick

This seems an HYD issue, probably caused by maintenance panel override switches.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the delayed response, I’ve been unwell.

Checked again tonight, not paused and restarts don’t clear it.

Seems like a persistent issue for us.

See my last message. This does happen particularly with skalarki overhead.

So, I think we have found what is causing this. Our setup uses P3d V5 on a separate PC from JeeHell FMGS. As such, in the older version (pretty old), when we close JeeHell and reopen it, all data is cleared and in a clean state. When using the new version if we only close and restart FMGSServer+ (starter) then when we restart JeeHell the state seems to be persisted.

So, to refresh now, we need to close JeeHell, close Prepare3d, and restart them both. Is this expected behaviour?

Note: We are using the Skalarki overhead (initially, we had the Plug and play Maintenace panel selected; we've since removed this option). I'm helping SAustin89 with the issues.

I don't believe there is any "data persisting". I do start/stop/restart the software many times without any issues like that. Are you really sure skalarki is not at fault here, reading anything from maintenance panel even if deactivated?

Hi Jean Luc,

We seemed to have fixed that issue by selecting the IAE Engine Option, but now when we rotate the aircraft gets to about 100ft and becomes uncontrolable and the elevator sticks full down.

The little control indicator on the PFD is fine and responds but the FCTRL page has the elevator full down. Aircraft has 50% fuel and 40% pax/cargo.

Thanks
Sam

Further to the post above, with the CFM engine selected the aircraft engines wouls spool up to maybe 35-39% and then roll back. Selecting TOGA made no difference to it, the engines would just roll back.

Cheers
Sam

Thanks, Jean Luc; I will review the Skalarki settings again and double-check.

So the flight control issue has been resolved, I had the rudder pedals configured incorrectly.
