I planned a flight from Bilbao to Madeira and loaded it into the MCDU via Simbrief.

The route is: LEBB/12 N0447F370 AMTO4D AMTOS UL14 ADINO DCT ESP DCT GANSU DCT NARTA DCT RAKUN RAKU1P LPMA/05
The whole route is approximately 950NM. Actually the route goes almost straight except for SID and STAR.

In the MCDU, however, the waypoints for GANSU and NARTA are not correct. Both waypoints exist twice. GANSU is incorrectly selected, it is 4850 NM from the route. The error occurs from the Waypoint ESP. I have checked the data from Simbrief. GANSU is transmitted with the correct LAT / LON values.

And the letters at the waypoints look like they are always two on top of each other. If you replace the incorrect waypoints with the correct ones, everything will be displayed correctly.

can you share the raw corte.xml file from simbrief?

Dear Jean,

the problem only exists, if you have waypoints in the route, who exists multiple times.
I have two idea to solve this issue:

1. In the simbrief-xml where you can receive via „https://www.simbrief.com/api/xml.fetche ... ={username}“ exists for every waypoint the coordinates. if you can use this, u can compare the waypoint an select the „right“.

2. If this is not possible, i think in most cases the „nearest“ waypoint (calculated from the waypoint before!) will be the right.

Out of curiosity, do you know if it matters if the flight plan is imported before or after the IRS are fully aligned?

that should not matter.

I will make more tests, but did you try with the latest version and recompiling navdata? There were some waypoints selection bugs which I fixed.

today I updated to 61.3.9. I then recreated the navigation data.
I created the same flight plan (LEBB - LEPA) in SIMbrief and loaded it via MCDU via SIMbrief. The error still exists.
