Hello to everyone, sorry,
what is the right configuration for the red stick button?

On reality, the red button is ONLY used to disengage the autopilot,
while if I press it again after disengage it, it engage itself again

Am I wrong the configuration?

Thank you
Massimo

Instead of the FCU AP you need to select the AP Disengage button for the CPT or FO sidestick.
You’ll find it further down in the list.

I think the right one is CPT APTO and FO APTO. The attached picture shows how it should be configured.

The way it works is described in my post from today in this topic:

HI,
i've same pb, it don't work as it should. no release, same with pedal disc.
we have also this pb with pedal disc, the release don't appear and no more action on rudders...
to help JL I specify that our 4 buttons (2 x apto and 2 x pedals disc) are on 2 Thurtmaster HOTAS interface and that they are relayed by JOYREMOTE, maybe this is the source of the problem.

Have a good day.

Both work for me with these settings (apto and pedals disc).

thank's Alex,
can you confirm that your joystick interface (HOTAS Thrustmaster) that hosts your switches are on a different PC than the one that has the fmgs server so fmgs_config.exe.
Also it's important , your personal configuration files are they from an old or even very old or created by the b58 version (new save).
thank you very much for you cooperation.

bests regards
gilles

Hi Gilles,

I have two OEM Airbus sidesticks so I cant tell about HOTAS. The sidesticks are connected via Leo Bodnar USB cards to the PC where also FMGS server / FMGS Config.exe is installed. The sidesticks are recognized by the PC like simple USB joysticks, so no special interfacing here. I am still using B57. Hope that helps.

yes Alex, thank you, that really helps. because if an identical programming of a button does not make the same rendering ... it is that there is a difference and our two hardware config are. you have just simply given lines of research for Jean Luc if he looks into this topic.
fortunately we can work around the problem by using the functions of FSUIPC / buttons switches and the offsets of JEEHELL such as:

[Buttons]
PollInterval=25
ButtonRepeat=20,10
1=P4,6,Cx010078ED,x52 -{offset byte set, offset 78ED}- for the GEAR down
2=U4,6,Cx010078ED,x51 -{offset byte set, offset 78ED}- for the GEAR up
3=P4004,17,Cx010078ED,x18 -{offset byte set, offset 78ED}- APTO Cpt Pressed
4=U4004,17,Cx010078ED,x19 -{offset byte set, offset 78ED}- APTO Cpt released
5=P4002,11,Cx010078ED,x1A -{offset byte set, offset 78ED}- APTO FO....
6=U4002,11,Cx010078ED,x1B -{offset byte set, offset 78ED}-

there is still a way to circumvent the problem of pedal Disc.

the problem is that this makes the programming disparate ... between that of SIOC creator, FMGS-config and FSUIPC ... we have an interest in doing our documentation well to be able to find our little ones, or else an excellent memory !! :lol:
i wish you a good day.
