External Lights

I am struggling with the light intensity of the external lights.

Since the new JL lights have been introduced, I have reduced the intensity of the different lights by changing the different fx files. This helped to reduce stutters while take off or landing. But since a few weeks I have the impression, that there is no effect anymore. The lights remain absolutely bright, causing stutters.

Did anything change in the recent versions in regards to lights controlling? And am I correct, that the folder with the external lights needs to be on the main P3D PC , not on the FMGS server PC?

Yes, the external lights need to be on the main P3D PC. Here I have also adjusted the lights. I leave external lights on the on the FMGS server PC unchanged.

Thank you Stefan. I have copied a wrong set of adjusted fx files to the P3D PC - now working fine again.
