Hi Jean Luc
Thank you for the update to B62.1.3.
I just took my first flight and have the following problem:
I loaded 5400kg of fuel (with the WBManager). At the end of the flight (LEBL-LEPA), I still had FOB at 4050kg and F. USED at 1910kg.
this makes a total of 5960kg. I think something's still wrong. Or is it?
Since SimBrief calculated a TripFuel of 1648kg plus 200kg TaxiFuel, I assume that there is something wrong with the FOB.
This was yesterday.
I made the exact same flight again today with exactly the same weather, 5400kg of fuel (with the WBManager) and this time I also observed the GW.
At departure I had FOB / F. USED / GW
5290kg / 200kg / 62400kg
When landing I had FOB / F. USED / GW
3850kg / 1940kg / 61100kg
This results in a difference of FOB / F. USED / GW
1340kg / 1740kg / 1300kg
Even if I add FOB and F. USED together this time I get 5790kg, which is more than the 5400kg I filled
Do you know why this is?
Hello,
As you have noticed, the forum suffered yet another crash. The dedicated server hosting my forums died unexpectedly young. The hard drive of the server seem to be the culprit, now the server, hosted by Scaleway, won't restart.
The data on the server is all lost. There was no attack nor malicious actions as far as I could see.
After previous crash, I tried to ensure better safety with backup solutions, but it seems I missed critical portions of the database, or they got corrupted somehow between the beginning of the crash and the last backup I made. All backups I made were useless in any case, and that has taken me quite some time these last 48h...
Please make your best revive the forums again…
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
This is strange, I have not noticed that. I will do some flights this weekend to check.

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
Thank you very much.
I made another flight from LSZH to EDDM via RWY28 DEGE1X with the original A320 FMGS (not that my own planes are suddenly causing problems), and after just 10 minutes, I had a difference of over 200 kg (FOB 5200 kg/4240 kg / F. USED 0 kg/1240 kg / GW 63500 kg/62500 kg).

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
I did a first test on the ground only for now, and there is no issue. Did you have the problem on the ground as well?

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
I didn't explicitly test this on the ground. As far as I know, the values were still okay after the taxi.
In flight, it was soon apparent that the values were developing differently.

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
I made inflight tests, and there were no issues here.
Do you have P3D and FMGS server on different PCs?
Does your P3D start situation have engines running or not?
Do you have another addon opened at the same time that could be changing fuel?
And does anybody else have the problem??

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
- I have FMGS and P3D on the same PC
- I display the MCDU, ND, PFD, and ECAM displays on a second PC
- I run it in Cold & Dark mode
- I don't have any other tools in use
The difference becomes larger the longer the flight lasts. Have you done a test flight?
For your information: I'm fueling, for example, 5,400 kg. During takeoff, I have a GW of 62,400 kg, FOB 5,200 kg, and F.USED 200 kg (FOB + F.USED = 5,400 kg).
And during landing, a GW of 61,100 kg, FOB 3,850 kg, and F.USED 1,940 kg (FOB + F.USED = 5,790 kg).
No idea where these 390 kg of fuel came from?
If I subtract 62,400 kg from 1,940 kg, I get a GW of 60,460 kg, not 61,100 kg—I have no idea where the difference comes from.

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
do you use a simulation rate different than 1x to speed up your flights?
For my tests I did a long flight, I burned 12500 kg and FOB + FUSED was accurate to the nearest 10kg...
Do you turn APU OFF?

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
And also, how much CPU is used on your PC? is it "tight"?

Re: Weight/Fuel Bug with B62.1.3
Exciting.
No, I'm flying at normal speed, the APU isn't running, and the CPU (AMD Ryzen 9 5950x) is in the green zone.
I haven't had this problem in version B61.11.0. I'll do a complete reinstall today.
Luckily, it's just an "unpleasantness," and I can still fly.
