Hello,

As you have noticed, the forum suffered yet another crash. The dedicated server hosting my forums died unexpectedly young. The hard drive of the server seem to be the culprit, now the server, hosted by Scaleway, won't restart.
The data on the server is all lost. There was no attack nor malicious actions as far as I could see.

After previous crash, I tried to ensure better safety with backup solutions, but it seems I missed critical portions of the database, or they got corrupted somehow between the beginning of the crash and the last backup I made. All backups I made were useless in any case, and that has taken me quite some time these last 48h...

Please make your best revive the forums again…

Sorry for the inconvenience.

FMGS on multiple computers

Post by turbovela »

Hello,

I’m trying to install FMGS on two computers and can’t seem to get the software to talk to each other. I’ve setup a network and both machines are reading each other, when I ping one from the other machine it’s pinning correctly, and viceversa. I have FMGS server installed on my P3D machine and on the remote machine I only have the FO PFD, ND and MCDU with the correct ip address in the configure window. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
Have you give total access to the firewall for all JEEHELL softwares?
Also the sharing of folder are they ok?

Just did that and now it’s connecting, but my FO PFD And ND are freezing. The MCDU works fine. Maybe it’s just to weak of a computer to use it for the PFD/ND? I’m using an I3 2gen with 8 gigs of RAM and a very old GTX640

Check the CPU usage with task manager.
When you say freeze, you mean they stop once and for all, or they are actually stuttering?
Make sure your antivirus is not blocking as well.
