Hello,

As you have noticed, the forum suffered yet another crash. The dedicated server hosting my forums died unexpectedly young. The hard drive of the server seem to be the culprit, now the server, hosted by Scaleway, won't restart.
The data on the server is all lost. There was no attack nor malicious actions as far as I could see.

After previous crash, I tried to ensure better safety with backup solutions, but it seems I missed critical portions of the database, or they got corrupted somehow between the beginning of the crash and the last backup I made. All backups I made were useless in any case, and that has taken me quite some time these last 48h...

Please make your best revive the forums again…

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Problem TRIM

Post by patrick-D »

Hello everyone
Since version 61, my trim wheel keeps spinning continuously, regardless of flight stops. It stops when the plane has landed.
Furthermore, with the latest version 62, after 15 minutes of flight, the autopilot disconnects, and the plane goes into a nosedive without being able to control it. Is there a reason for this?
My equipment is Cockpitsonic.
Sincerely, everyone.
Patrick

Hi

Did you try changing FMGS server option "Pitch Trim Wheel Feedback" to no?

Hello Jean-Luc
I changed the Pitck Trim Wheel Feedback option to no. The problem seems resolved, but the autopilot no longer engages.
I'll try again.
Best regards,
Patrick

Hello Patrick
Your problem with the AP shutting down and losing control of the aircraft may be the same as many others.
Dieter had a post in the "old" forum that helped him, and here
viewtopic.php?t=2
you can find my "solution".
Ultimately, there is probably not "THE" solution
Best regards

Hello Jean luc
It doesn't engage, and the turn remains at a maximum of 200 knots. After a while, if I initiate a manual descent, I manage to engage it.
Best regards,
Patrick
