Hello,
I open this topic to search for somebody that can explain to me how to import wind data from Active Sky or Simbrief to MCDU INIT pertinent page, avoiding this way to digit the values for each way point of the route.
Is it possible to do this in the last version of Jeehell FMGS?
Thanks in advance for help to my understanding.
Kind regards
Massimo

Re: Wind data upload in MCDU
Massimo, in reallife it is absolute sufficient to put in only the average crosswind component at the INIT B page of the MCDU as Tail or Headwind. On very rare situations it can be aplicable to enter Wind Data for CLB/Cruise/DEC. This can be the case if you fly a longer range which exeeds to the maximum range of the A320, or if you have to take highspeed variable Headwinds into account.
Because the nessecary fuel is already planned by the dispatcher, taking into account the weather situations accross the whole flight, there is no real benefit from additional wind calculations, rather the average x-wind comp.

Bernd
