MCDU Display

Post by flambinet »

Bon jour Jean Luc,
since a few days, I have a problem with the CPT MCDU display.
I think it appeared after updating to B61.13.2
My system consists of 3 computers, one main running P3D and A320FMGS and 2 others
mainly for the screen displays. One of the two is used to display the Cpt MCDU.
The screen only shows 1 line, AIDS and another word on it on the left side and SIM on the right side

On the other two computers, I have loaded the CPT MCDU's for control, result normal display

I have then checked my hardware:
The MCDU screen has no problems, because it shows other documents.
I disconnected the screen from the computer, but the the MCDU did not show right on the
related computer screen. Same display as described above.
I went back to B61.13.1, including creting new .bin files, no change.

I am a bit lost, because I think I tried everything what I could think of.
Could it be that MCDU.exe on this particular computer is corrupted?
Thanks for your support.
Best Regards

Try to delete cpt config file for the MCDU, and redo the configuration.

Thanks Jean Luc for your quick reply.
Just to be sure. I delete (move the file to a different location) configMCDU.cfg
and restart A320FMGS with starter.exe. Right?
And configMCDU.cfg is building itself up during the start up process?

Thanks for a short confimation or correction.

Bon jour Jean Luc,
thanks again for your quick reply yesterday.
I did as per your advice, and deleted configMCDU.cfg in the folder MCDU.
But nothing happened after I started the program with starter.exe.
The same display as yesterday
Everything was done in administrator mode.
I am not sure what you mean with redo the configuration.
Could you please explain further.
Thanks, best regards
Fritz
