Question on the sound modul
Hi JL,
Today a Windows update was necessary again. Resetting the sound cards in the Intercom is quick. However, I have to reselect the sound card for each sound in the sound module every time.
Wouldn't there be a way to install a button in the sound module with which you can assign the selected sound card to all sounds at the same time. That would simplify things considerably? And you might only have to change a few sounds if you needed a different sound card.

Re: Question on the sound modul
I had to do the same... that's a fantastic idea!
Another one: add a play button to test the loudness for each sound directly in live-mode

Hey Micheal. I have been following your engine sound issue on another forum on mycockpit.orgmichael1508 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 6:19 pm I had to do the same... that's a fantastic idea!

Did you come right with the engine sounds? Where did you get the engine sounds from?

Re: Question on the sound modul
uuuh - can't remember that one on myCockpit.org
But I am very satisfied with the sound package from BSS.
I believe it stands for Blue Sky Sound.
Another good one is from TSS (Turbine sound Studios). They offer different sounds for the preferred engine.

Re: Question on the sound modul
It doesn't, but it works. Also found out that I can just copy the sound folder from P3D to the A320 folder in FMGS too. Just delete the aircondition.wav file as it seems to override the set aircon volume in the Sound module.

Re: Question on the sound modul
Hey Guys,
The weekend was a special day.
I activated my Skalarki instruments with my mate and connected them to the servers.
The only thing that didn't connect was the sound module.
I connected two speaker systems to one sound card each.
One engine sound and one cockpit sound.
Both loudspeaker systems work in windows.
But unfortunately there is no connection to the servers.
And no sound can be heard in P3D
I would be very happy if someone has an idea why this could be.
Thank you very much and best regards
Sebastian

Re: Question on the sound modul
Hello
What do you mean by "no connection to the server"? waht makes you say that?
The default package does not contain any engine sounds. I have made a test package https://jeehell.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=233 that includes engine sounds but it is still very early in development.

Re: Question on the sound modul
Hey
JeeHell's sound module does not appear as connected in JL Server app. The server is on a dedicated PC.
The connection between P3D and Jeehell exists (Activ)
Best regards

Re: Question on the sound modul
The sound app may say its connected but still works, meaning it could be just a bug in the connection check.
However, the engine sounds are NOT INLCUDED in my software package (unless you switched to the beta sound module package).
