New setup of Jeehell, Skalarki P3D v5

Good day everyone

I am changing my setup from Prosim and MSFS2020 to JeeHell and P3D

So, looking at some assistance with regards to this new setup. I have a full Skalarki pedestal, a medium PC for the MIP display, and All-in-one touchscreen PC for the overhead and then the primary PC for P3D. At present, I can get JeeHell working on all the PCs and are working correctly. The issue that I am having is getting Skalarki to talk to the JeeHell server on the primary PC. Skalarki Profiler is not showing as connected. Only the lower two indicators on the Profiler Status screen are green.

Your help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Did you install the profiler correctly with Jeehell support and Jeehell plane?
Is your profiler showing the Jeehell profile to be used?

Hi. Yes, the Jeehell aircraft is there and everything else works except for the Skalarki pedestal. Still new at this, but got infor that I am supposed to install FSUIPC6 and WideFS7. Made the purchase and will be doing the setup tonight.

I have a 2 pc setup.....main pc with P3D....MIP.....pedestal....OVHD....captain A320 joystick...throttle quadrant as tiller....rudder pedals....(everything connected by an USB Hub to main pc Ryzen 9 with 2080Ti) + Skalarki profiler ...Active Sky
.....FSUIPC6 and 2nd with 4 Jeehell displays only + EGPWS without profiler + PF3.....EFB2....+ some other programs connected by WideFS....and Simconnect.

My setup
Main PC - P3d Jeehell server FSUIPC6 Cpt Sidestick, FO Sidestick, Cpt Rudder, FO Rudder CPFlight FCU 3x 55" monitors
MIP PC - Jeehell MIP screens 2x 19" monitors 1x 19"touchscreen
OVHD PC - Combo PC/Touchscreen Jeehell OVHD
Pedestal PC - Skalarki complete pedestal Cpt MCDU, FO MCDU FSUIPC6 + WideFS


I managed to get the TQ on the pedestal to talk to Jeehell on the main PC, but now have the issues getting the buttons to talk. EG: I can power up the aircraft wiht the batteries and APU on the JeeHell OVHD, but "Engine Start" switches don't work, MCDU buttons don't work.

First, what is your name? Then one can also address you, which would be quite nice

Your setup is not unusual, I use about the same setup with several computers.

For this to work, the IP addresses on all machines must be correct during the setup of Jeehell. Also your network must work correctly. Means the computers can reach each other. Then the correct IP to the Jeehell server must also be entered in the profiler, otherwise it won't work. Hardware Connect should work on all computers.
In the profiler you have to check if the outputs are set correctly.

But without seeing your config, it is hard to see the error.
What you have in mind works in any case.

Being in I.T. I have set the network up correctly. As everything worked when I was testing with Prosim, but can't afford that.
I will have to have a look at the Skalarki profiler then. Is there a way of testing the button outputs to Jeehell without having to start up P3D? EG: Similar to testing axis control with Jeehells FMGS_Config.exe?

Hi Andrew,

you can test the Buttons in Profiler, also the trim wheel.
The Profiler for the Pedestal PC must show all green.
If the MCDUs are working, then check the loaded profile if it has the right assignments.
And, what buttons du you mean, ENG Start?

All good. Skalarki is now working. So that is 90% of the work done. Now to figure out why FMGS won't auto start on startup even though the shortcut is in the startup folder and why the light switches on the FMGS overhead don't work.

Hi Andrew,

you are using Windows10 or 11?
The you must use the Task Planer from Windows.
Create a Task "on Logon" then the FMGS Starter can load, if you need a delay for loading FMGS you can set it in the Task Planer.
Don't use the Startup Folder.

On Windows 10. Thank you. I will look into that too. Slowly getting there.
Now to focus on my overhead issue as in my other thread.
