Hi all,
I am running my cockpit since 2018 - in more or less its current form... never change a running system
(Windows 10 - P3D v4.5 - JeeHell v53 - Skalarki Profiler 5.1)
But now it is time for a new main-pc and therefore also a completely new and clean installation.
May I ask you for your view on the following installation sequence?
1. Hardware Installation + BIOS Updates
2. Windows 11 Pro (incl. all updates) + latest HW driver
3. Fly Elise Immersive Display Pro (warping software)
4. Prepar3d v5.3 (incl. all updates)
5. Skalarki Profiler (latest version)
6. JeeHell (latest version)
7. Active Sky + Active Sky Cloud Art
8. Simstarter + CORTE Manager
9. All addon sceneries
10. Tools (Audiorepeater, vPilot, SimBrief, FsRaas, CPDLC)
Looking forward for your feedback and happy to discuss.
Best regards
Micha

Re: Setting up a new PC - Proper installation sequence
Of course P3D prior to FMGS, Activesky and other add ons
But the order of the add on's does not really matter from my experience.
I would only recommend to do fly elise after P3D Just for efficiency reason, as you can then directly configure P3D in one go.
