Wow! Topic #2 in this Category! So here we go

I was practicing VOR navigation. So I tuned in a VOR by entering it on the RadNav page.
On activating the VOR display on the EFIS, the white arrow is pointing to the VOR station.
But when switching to the VOR rose mode, I do not see the CDI arrow, indicating the deviation from the VOR course.
There only was a constant blue VOR line from the 0 point to the 180 degree point on the ND.

What am I doing wrong?

for the CDI you have to fill out the CRS field in radnav page, so the cdi has a reference

Yes, forgot to mention, that I did.

I entered the radial I was flying towards the VOR.
For example I took off at EDDL 05R and wanted to intercept to VOR BAM at a 90 degree angle. So inbound course 140 = radial 320

???

Ok , you allways should enter the course.
EDDL 05R, Kumik/Doden Dep ? -->... RT intercept R278 BAM
You fly on R 278 TO BAM , so the course is 098 -> RADNAV page 098 .

I know, the regular SID is R278.
Just took the other course as an example .

But understand now, that I need to enter the course. Ok.
Will try tomorrow on my next flight.
