Old FDS FCU based on CPFlight

Post by JDoxey »

Hi,
I'm in the process of moving my simulator parts from PM and AST to Jeehell and think that I might be encountering obsolescence issues! With the fantastic help of Jean Luc I got my MCDU up and running but I think my FCU may be too far gone.

It is an old FDS unit based on a CPflight interface board that was referred to as the G2. I have seen others have tried to get them going but can't get a definitive answer on if they are compatible. I have it connected to an old Windows XP machine because there don't seem to be any drivers for Windows 10. Using the Hardware Connect app, it opens a port but then repeatedly says False Connection.

Is anyone able to tell me for sure of this unit is or is not compatible with Jeehell?

Thanks.

Hi

I am sorry but these old units are not compatible.
Cpflight did not want to give the full specs of these boards even a few years ago...

Thanks Jean Luc - that's what I suspected. I had wondered if it was somehow possible to copy data between Jeehell and Project Magenta offsets but it is probably easier to start cutting wires!

Justin
