ENG not working A320 / Thrust Lever

Hello,

I installed the latest update yesterday. Unfortunately, I now have a problem with the thrust lever from Cockpitsonic.

I use the EHID driver from CS. I have performed the calibration again via the FMGS Config tool. All values seem to be correct.
nevertheless the engines give no thrust.
The blue donut moves (which means that the lever works) but the engine does not go up. instead the ECAM always shows the error message "ENG 1 reverser unlock".
Also a new calibration brought no help.

I'll send a few pictures in a moment.

After installing the old version, the thrust lever has worked properly again.

I would be very happy if you had a tip or help.

greetings
Guido

The a320 aircraft that comes in my package. It is the one you need to select in p3d vehicle selection.

Hi,

there are two models available:

FMGS A320 - 214 V2.6
FMGS A320 - 233 V2.6

Currently 233 is active.

Is this correct ?

You should rather use the a320 214

Can you Tell me why pls ? Thanks

Because you used an IAE engine version while on the EIS you left the CFM version. So i suggest you use the CFM version everywhere because it actually has less issues with some FWC warnings.

hello Jean Luc,

sorry but I would like to ask again if there is a solution for this ?
can the EHID driver be too old ? I use the latest version 2.4.1.
I would be very sorry if I could no longer update JeeHell.

What information would help you to isolate the problem ?

i use 56.0.29. ( i tried today Version 57.2.0 - but a lot of programs, like PFD/ND/stby instruments did not start correctly - so i use again 56.0.29)
I still use FSX and cockpitsonic TQ. The TQ works normal with version 56.0.29. (also with version 57.2.0 - ECAM and SD page were the only programs in 57.2.0 which worked, so i moved the lever and engines accelerated).

I only use the FSX A320 wich comes with Jeehell.
So the EHID driver should not be the problem.

I believe it is something else.
While the software runs, bring up the AP/FBW application and change the engine variant twice (first the other one then back to the one you use). Make sure to click load button on each change.
And see if it makes a difference.

Hello Jean Luc,

sorry for the late feedback, but I didn't have time to test this.
Now I have done what you suggested, the lever is now working but not error free.

As soon as the lever goes to idle the ECAM gives an error message. I have made a picture of this error.
https://ibb.co/qgbbmWK

As soon as you move the lever from IDLE to e.g. 40% the message "AVAIL" appears although the engines are already some minutes on. Also here a picture.

Do you have any idea what this could be ?
I would be very grateful for a solution.

btw:
The AP/FBW module does not start automatically. How can I make the APP start automatically ?

Are you using the A320-214 in P3D?
What are the airport conditions? elevation, temperature, pressure?

Yes. I use A320-214.

it doesn't matter what conditions prevail at the airport.
I use either Real weather or Standard fairy weather.
The values are e.g. 1013 HpA, 10 degrees Celsius, altitude 320 ft.
I used the airport EDDK (Cologne/Bonn) when the error occurred. As soon as I use the old SW version with the same conditions the error does not occur.

What else can I do ? Are there any LOG's or tests I could do ?

Thanks a lot.

I tested it, and in EDDK 1013hpa 10°C I get an IDLE N2 of 59.3 not 57 as you get
This is below the idle N2 for the conditions you have so the FWC thinks you have a failed engine...
do you use any other addons which could interfere with icing, temperature or else?

Hi Jean Luc,
I hadn't even noticed that about N2. Thank you.

Good question. I use P3D v4 for the visual.
then I still use FS-Flight Control.
And FSUIPC.
otherwise no further software.

additionally further hardware like MDCU and FCU.

I will have a closer look and then I will get back to you.

Is there a possibility to increase the threshold for N2 so that the FWC does not think the engine has failed ?

there should not be any need for that, if you use the flight model which comes with the installer package...

Sorry but i use the flight model which comes with the installer package. or must i import this model again in the P3D after update the SW ?

Hello Jean Luc,

I am really sorry to say this, but I have a new problem now. I installed yesterday the latest version B58.
The problem with the thrust lever does not seem to occur anymore! ;-) Instead, a whole new set of problems that were not there before. The FCU does not work anymore. :-( The speedbrakes and the flaps no longer work.
How did I proceed ? I renamed the folder of each computer => C:\A320FMGS and then ran the installation B58 again on each computer. In P3D I replaced the A320-214 Aircraft with A320 from the package. Most of it works. But the above things no longer. The speedbrake and flaps run via the said EHID driver. Unfortunately, this driver is very old and can no longer be updated.

I would be really grateful if you could support me. I can provide log data etc. I would like to try to isolate the problem with your help.
I say many thanks in advance.

Best Regards
Morti
