The sound app may say its connected but still works, meaning it could be just a bug in the connection check.
However, the engine sounds are NOT INLCUDED in my software package (unless you switched to the beta sound module package).

Re: Question on the sound modul
Hello
What do you mean by "no connection to the server"? waht makes you say that?
The default package does not contain any engine sounds. I have made a test package https://jeehell.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=233 that includes engine sounds but it is still very early in development.

- The cavalry charge did not ring during ENG/tests? How long did you stay pushed on the test button?
- I will try to implement individual sound volume settings for engine sounds.
- engine sounds disappearing: did they come back by themselves on next takeoff or did you restart the software?

The checkbox is to enable / disable playing engine sounds.
The slider is to adjust overal engine sounds volume (it is not per sound but for all sounds).

The new sound engine does NOT use p3d for sounds.
The sound module application is playing them.

Re: BETA TESTING SOUND MODULE
Hello Everyone I have uploaded a new version of the general version software (61.11.0). Now here is another full installer, with the beta sound module: https://www.jeehell.org/A320FMGS_B61.11.0_soundbeta.exe The download size has roughly doubled since it contains the TSS sounds set (which is encoded...

Re: IITCreator
I ahve no idea if the use with the main software is impacted or not, I don't have any hardware to test that. Please have some tests and check... if you never encounter any issue (while it is frequent with IITcreator) then that would mean that either the bug is well contained in the normal driver, or...

Re: BETA TESTING SOUND MODULE
An important message on this beta sound module thread. Next version of this beta sound module will include a very important feature: engine sounds . You may wonder "why bother with playing your own engine sounds when P3D can do it?" so here are a few points: 1. For some time already, the ...

Re: BETA TESTING SOUND MODULE
... Just one thing which makes me wonder - not sure if I am doing wrong or not: I never hear the TripleClick.wav after disconnecting the A/P. ... I have made a fix in the new sound module which should do it. However I believe the "legacy" sound module is probably prone to that one as well...

Re: IITCreator
That is a bug (the numerous devices) I have noticed but have no explanations. You should indeed make sure you have the correct amount of devices before doing anything or it may save corrupt devices.

Re: BETA TESTING SOUND MODULE
@LH320: I just fixed that for a soon coming release. For everyone else, do you have any kind of issues with this new sound module? performance? Did you notice any improvement? (most notable one would be "crackling" when some ambient looping sounds are playing like air cond, avionics ventil...

Re: IITCreator
Hmm this is strange.
In the xml, you have many <board> entries without any <ID>. I would delete those whole nodes.
Are all your devices USBs?
Also how many actual devices are plugged in?

Re: ILS LOC not appearing or capturing
This has to do with windows.
I have some network mapped drives as well for some other stuff, and use some command line script to set the drives. Whenever I reboot, I need to run the script twice (with & without admin rights).

Are you sure your network mapped drives are still working?
They may not be working if you use admin rights and you set them up without admin rights.
